September 9th to November 3rd - studio sessions

Time to make a new record.
Ste already had three demos, "Something to Believe In", "Yeah Yeah", and "Blueprint to your Heart". We decided to add real drums and bass to them and see how they turned out. We also wanted to record our new song, "Why Did I Have to do That" more acoustically, as we liked the sound of the Metro Radio recording.

The first session was chez Jamie. I recorded bass lines for all but "Blueprint...". Then Ste and I recorded some guitars for "Why Did...". Two days later I recorded a bass line for "Blueprint..." at home and sent it to Jamie.

Hughie and Ste then went into Tees Music Tech on the weekend of September 15th/16th and laid down drums for all four, then guitars and vocals for "Why Did...". There may have been a little tweaking to the others, guitar and vocal-wise too.

After the first set of mixes came through, changes were made to all of them. I recorded a new bass line for "Yeah Yeah" on October 10th and sent it.

There was one more session at Jamie's on November 2 when some more guitars were added to "Why Did..." That's also when the final mixes were done.
